Abu Dhabi - On Friday, June 8th, Khalidiyah Mall hosted one of the UAE’s largest and most vibrant flash mobs in its main atrium. The purpose of the flash mob was to surprise Abu Dhabi’s shoppers. The flash mob captured the attention of thousands of shoppers, who stopped to watch the perfectly synchronized and choreographed performance.

Just after 8:00pm, lively Western music was played throughout the mall over a mall-wide speaker system, the crowd began grooving to the beats. The crowd was made up of more than 120 students from schools and colleges in the Abu Dhabi area.
The dance was choreographed by Mr Sabir Mohey of Purple Dance Centre, which is located in Y-Tower in Abu Dhabi City. Cine Royal Cinemas Abu Dhabi joined hands with Purple Dance Centre to bring the flash mob to life.
